About Us

Welcome! My name is Judy Chong. I am a former pharmacist, mother of three, and have been successful at losing weight later in life. Since I have personally experienced many of the ups and downs of trying to achieve a healthier lifestyle through proper diet and exercise, I am in a unique position to help my clients.

Fitness Spark provides personal training, and health, fitness & wellness mentoring for clients of all ages. I design programs that can accommodate a wide variety of fitness goals, from improving your tennis game or golf stroke, to weight loss or playing with your child or grandchild.

As a professional fitness instructor I incorporate elements of functional training utilizing the natural movements of the body, the Pilates method, yoga, myofascial release and PNF stretching, sports conditioning (tennis & volleyball in particular - also dog agility), and martial arts into my sessions. My education as an exercise physiologist and in exercise nutrition helps me to create an ideal training package for my clients. I also have taught nutrition at the community college level and at Cal State East Bay.
